The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an individual to drive sales growth in QLD (mainly, but not limited to QLD) by leading direct sales, creating strategic alliances and relationships with important reseller organisations, regional distributors, and large farming corporations. The incumbent in this role will monitor customer, market, and competitor activity weekly to build and adapt appropriate strategic plans for the assigned geography.

As a leader of the sales team, the Regional Sales Manager will report directly to Australia’s General Manager and be responsible for engaging and maintaining close relationships with growers, companies, and key industry players in each region, with the purpose of developing sales and enabling a comprehensive understanding of trends and opportunities.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:

  • Plan and facilitate routine strategic sales calls with sales team and regional distributors
  • Ensure the sales team provides good service and support to the business’ partners and distributors
  • Participate in sales activities including conferences, trade shows, field days, etc.
  • Support installations, service requirements and operational needs
  • In charge of correct usage and implementation of CRM in the company
  • Periodic reporting of the Sales plan progress and statistics to GM
  • Business travel required Australia-wide

This role is suitable for someone based in Toowoomba or surrounding towns.
 
About You
Our ideal candidate will be driven, with a strong background in agricultural sales. Honesty and authenticity are key, coupled with great interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for the Agricultural industry. Furthermore, you will be adaptable, organised, and professional.

To be considered for the role, it is important that you can address the following:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales.
  • Exposure to broadacre cropping is highly desirable (Cotton and Grains favourable)
  • Agronomy diploma or degree is highly desirable
  • Ability to work as part of a team, or independently as required

Your Role
This is a new role and is in the highly regarded national citrus and table grape HR team. It is the perfect role to start, learn and grow into the HR function from the bottom up. 
 
Based in Emerald, reporting to the HR Manager for central QLD, located at one of the most strategically important sites in the portfolio.  This is a busy role at the centre of the action, supporting managers to staff their businesses to grow, harvest, pack and distribute one of the most sought-after citrus products on the planet. 
 
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Manager and contributing to the overall success of the business, learning as you go. You will be responsible for a diverse range of HR administration in the first instance but with a clear eye on becoming an HR Advisor over time.
 
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the recruitment processes with candidate care and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientations and training coordination.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on common HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of HR-related training programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and HR best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the HR Manager as required.

 
About You
You may have a new HR qualification, you may have experience equivalent to, or you may want to get into HR and obtain qualifications over time.  Most importantly, however, you will be able to demonstrate high achievement orientation, high initiative, a high concern for standards, learning agility, excellent social skills, and a genuine concern for supporting a multicultural workforce with a myriad of HR questions.     
 
To be successful in this role, it is important you can address the following –

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Some exposure to a fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to travel to farms locally and regionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications preferred but not essential.

About the Role
  
In this key role, you’ll be the mastermind behind the scenes, ensuring our people have everything they need to get the job done. Your days will range from working with the sales and account management teams in coordinating transport and accommodation for our labour-hired staff to negotiating new contracts, managing vehicle leases and internal fleet management and maintenance schedules.  
  
In addition to the above, your role will also include, but not be limited to:
  

  • Manage relationships with key providers across vehicle leases, accommodation (internal & external) as well as other transport provides who assist in mobilising staff.
  • Analise and optimise costs across transport and accommodation.
  • Negotiate and review accommodation contracts and lease agreements.
  • Oversee vehicle inspections (internal and external) and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Manage and maintain asset registers (vehicles, IT hardware) and optimise software where possible (currently using i-auditor) licenses.
  • Coordinate transport and accommodation for new intakes efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Finance for weekly reconciliation of deductions vs. vehicle usage.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management and PALM teams to establish new accommodation options.

  
About you

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, transport, or asset/facilities management
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills – you’ll be building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach
