Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: AU$75000 - AU$95000 per annum + Accommodation, Meals, Super and more

This role is based in spectacular region of Brunette Downs, NT (660KM North-West of Mount Isa). As the largest property in our client's operation, Brunette Downs provides a variety of social events, scenic landscapes and extra-curricular activities. These include:

  • Jet skis, fishing boats and ski boats to use at local lake (2 minutes from homestead)
  • Horse racing at the ABC Race Club (Camp drafts, Rodeos and charity events)
  • Close proximity to King Ash Bay (some of the best fishing in the NT)

The Role

As the Maintenance Supervisor you're responsible for ensuring maintenance programs are followed across vehicles, plants, and machinery at the Brunette Downs station. Reporting to the Station and Operations Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supervising the current team of tradespeople and providing training when needed
  • Providing preventative and breakdown maintenance across vehicles/plants, pumping equipment, generators, and other small motors e.g. chainsaws, lawn mowers, etc.
  • Carrying out repairs and overhauls as required per the maintenance schedule
  • Assisting in the general maintenance of building and station structures when needed
  • Preserving an efficient and safe workshop
  • Maintaining a sufficient and organised spare parts inventory

Skills & Experience

To be considered for the role, it's important you can address the following criteria:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
  • Appropriate licences to operate the machinery required
  • Supervision experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Valid driver's licence
