As an MC Road Train Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe transportation of container boxes of ore from mine sites to the Hermidale rail pad. There will also be the occasional bulk haulage of grain throughout NSW and QLD.
Supported by the Logistics Coordinator who supervises all loading requirements and driver instructions, drivers are required to load and unload containers, maintain good housekeeping, assist with equipment maintenance if required.
There's no set roster, leaving it open to you to set your work schedule which can range from 40 - 72 hours/week. The option for a 6/6 or 7/7 roster will be available.
Base rate of pay is $25.40/hour for non-driving duties. During transport duties, the rate of pay will be at $40/hr based on trip rates. You will be driving for an average of 8 - 12 hours per day.
Skills & Experience
You'll need to have proven road train experience and a good safety record. To be considered for the role, it's important you can prove the following:
- Operators must have an MC Licence and road train experience.
- Positive attitude
- Good problem solving skills
