Procurement Coordinator

Our client is a leader in cotton production and is searching for a Procurement Coordinator to work at their cotton gin based out of Moree.

Our client has grown to be a world leader in cotton merchandizing, serving all major consumer markets today.

The Role

The Procurement Coordinator's key purpose is to assist the gin site manager with stock and parts procurement, inventory management, inventory stocktakes, auditing and other duties associated with site management. The duties will mainly be administrative based with high levels of reporting, monitoring and follow up. The responsibilities of the Procurement Coordinator include, but not limited to:

  • Inventory management i.e. Audits, Ordering/procuring parts and services etc
  • Reporting - inventory, utility usage
  • Monthly Health & Safety, housekeeping audits
  • Support Gin Manager with adhoc/admin duties
  • Assist in the plant when needed

Skills & Experience

A great work ethic with a 'Can do' attitude is required.

To be considered for the role, you will need to prove the following:

  • Prior work in a production environment
  • Reporting experience with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite programs
  • Experience in inventory reconciliations
