Our client is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join their start up AI AgTech Company
As a Sales Specialist, you will manage and maintain all key accounts and commercial activities for our client on a national and global level. Use your established networks to grow sales and drive this business to the next level. You will plan and implement strategies to identify new sales channels and accounts to achieve your targets.
Evaluating and analysing performance and customer data, you'll report regularly to the CEO detailing actions to capitalise on trends and outlining marketing initiatives.
This is a highly autonomous position that sees you being part of a small but dynamic work team. There will be regular interstate travel to capture opportunities and this role can be based anywhere in Australia for the right candidate. Our client services customers in the US, South America, South Africa, UK and New Zealand currently, so the potential for international travel exists to leverage qualified leads as well as build on existing proven sales.
Your first twelve months would look like (but not be limited to):
- Customer Presentations
- Use of and maintaining CRMs
- Implementing and running campaigns
- Cold calling
- Sales funnel creation
- Budgeting and sales forecasting
- Regular daily and monthly reporting
- Performance and client data analysis
- Interstate and potentially International travel
Your Skills & Experience
You will have a strong and proven background in Sales, with agricultural experience highly desirable.
A strong verbal and written communicator, you will be professional and well-presented and able to effectively negotiate and communicate with farmers. Equipped with knowledge of the berry and viticulture industry you'll apply your skills on profitability and gross margin projections to assist in growing the business.
It's important you can prove your capability with the following:
- Valid Driver's License (essential)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Well-presented and professional
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- High level problem solving abilities and able to influence others
