Mechanical Technician/Heavy Equipment Technician

Our candidate has been working in South Australia since 2023 in mechanical maintenance and equipment support roles. He initially worked on biochar production equipment, carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support. Following a change in business operations, he transferred into the agricultural machinery team, where he now services and repairs John Deere and Case tractors, attachments, logging equipment, rigging equipment, and other mobile plant. He has strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, fault finding, welding, fabrication, and equipment troubleshooting.

Prior to Australia, he worked in the mining industry as a Heavy Equipment Technician, maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment, hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and major components. His combined experience across agriculture, industrial processing, and mining has given him a well-rounded mechanical skill set with both workshop and field service capabilities.
