Marcela Rocha-Lima

With a diverse and well-rounded professional background in the agriculture industry, Marcela brings a wealth of experience to the Agri Talent team, where she works as a recruitment consultant – matching top talent with leading Australian agriculture businesses.

Marcela is a fully qualified and experienced agronomist specialising in horticulture and crop management. Originally from Brazil, she has lived and worked in many different countries, including Australia, the United States and the Netherlands, and established an extensive international network.

From a single 2ha glass house to a 1000+ ha farm, Marcela has been responsible for a variety of crops – from avocados, bananas and leafy vegetables to flowers and coffee. Highly knowledgeable on each commodity, Marcela is also experienced in internal recruitment processes, having recruited for and managed teams in previous roles, and keenly aware of the recruitment challenges facing agribusinesses.

In her role at Agri Talent, Marcela is committed to finding candidates with the passion and enthusiasm to make meaningful contributions to her clients’ operations. Above all, she is excited to make her own meaningful contribution to the Agri Talent team, and to affect positive change in her candidates’ lives and her clients’ operations.
