Safety Manager

A Certified WHS Practitioner (AIHS) and HR professional (AHRI) with 15+ years’ experience leading WHS and organisational improvement across agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and local government. He has deep capability in building and embedding WHS management systems, including ISO 45001 implementation and audit readiness. In his current Group Safety Manager role with G2 Netting Operations (multi-site horticulture/construction environment), he leads OHSMS development aligned to ISO 45001, implements safety software, conducts risk assessments, delivers training, and manages incident investigations using ICAM methodology. He also holds return-to-work coordination responsibilities and oversees injury management across states and territories.

Previously, as Principal WHS & Wellbeing he led ISO 45001 implementation and improved statutory compliance from 33% to 69% over two years, alongside reductions in workers compensation claims. His earlier roles in agribusiness and manufacturing included building safety frameworks, chairing safety committees, leading workplace inspections and investigations, and driving corrective/preventive actions in high-pressure, blue-collar settings. Currently looking for a hands-on, multi-site role where he can take ownership and drive measurable improvements. Willing to relocate anywhere in Australia for the right role.
